Trekking to Alagarkoil

Within a week after going to TPK hills we have decided to visit Alagarkoil. This time “we” includes the same 6 persons who visited TPK hills and additionally shanoof,  sugumar and seenivasan. We have decided to be at Periyar by 9. Surprisingly subbi and vanni came earlier and as usual senthil came late. But unexpectedly hostel guys came very very late. Finally we got into bus nearly an hour late as of our plan. We went to temple first and then we went into the forest area. No one can beat subbi for giving different poses. We went to Palamudhircholai which is one of the Aarupadaiveedu of Lord Murugan. While returning it seems sriram lost his stamina and from then onwards he looked dull. Only he knows the reason. Centre of attraction of this treeking was Seeni. Because we have decided to take one photo which includes all persons in our team. So we asked passer by to take a photo after we climbed a rock. Since the path to it was slightly steeper all faced small amount of difficulty over there. But seeni could not make his presence there. All laughed and shouted at him to come fast. But it was too late. A police constable came and roared at us “Irangunga da keela..”,”Padikira pasangala paru..”. But none of us took it seriously and remained on the rock itself. He became more irritated and came much closer with his yard stick. At this time all came down and ran out of that place. Soon we came out of Alagarkoil and went to eco park early evening. Trekking to TPK Hills

It was the decision made by praveen to climb the small hill located at Thiruparankundram. But as per vanniaperumal’s decision we went for a taller hill. Here “we” includes myself,senthil,sriram,vanni,praveen and subramani. All of us were tired even before crossing steps itself. Took a break within short distances and gave pose to photo’s taken by vanni with his N73. Thank god! He bought N73 otherwise the photos will not be much clear as his 6600 will not give much clarity. Sriram’s enthusiasm and praveen’s fearness while climbing the hill looked like extreme poles. We went to peak of hill within an hour. From there even the bigger buildings looked like small one. Very beautiful to watch. By God’s grace I escaped unhurt while returning back. Photos can be viewed by clicking here.
